Alison Pill

Pill worked in productions in her home country of Canada which took some time before she entered productions in the American market. One such appearance included an episode from the Canadian show Traders that starred Bruce Gray. Pill had the opportunity to land an appearance on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation which starred Wallace Langham and Liz Vassey in "Would If, Maybe, But Shoulda" written by Naren Shankar and featuring Michael Ensign and Michael G. Hagerty. Pill has worked on Picard for a year, became a second character in Devs which is a science fiction miniseries that was produced by FX Productions and Hulu. The actress played the same role, Katie, in each episode, much like she had her character from Picard. It was apparent that the similarities to Picard didn't stop there since the central theme Devs was disclosed to involve the survival of consciousness within an artificial structure, similar to that which Data could be preserved within, which was revealed earlier that year in the Picard season one's conclusion "Et In Arcadia Ego Part 2".
